The Walk for Women’s Health, a free community event with booths, fun games, prizes and information will be held this Sunday, May 20th at Susanville Ranch Park from 2:30 until 4:30p.m.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a fun, activity filled afternoon outdoors while exploring ways to strengthen your physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual health.
You can choose whether you want to walk on the one or the one-and-a-half mile courses and the first 50 participants get a free t-shirt.
Local organizations that will be at the event include Lassen County SNAP-Ed/CalFresh and Behavorial Health; Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS); Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS); Covered California; Every Woman Counts; American CA Society; Lassen Senior Services; Eagle Lake Village; Lassen College; Lassen Family Services and the Aurora Network.
Walk from booth to booth gathering free gear and loads of information, then walk the trail of your choosing. Bring a friend and make it a party.
