Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Reno have issued a Freezing Fog Advisory this morning, in effect until 11:00a.m.
Visibility of one-quarter-mile or less in freezing fog is being reported in Lassen, eastern Plumas and eastern Sierra
Counties. In Nevada, Northern Washoe county, Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake, and the Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area.
Low visibility may make driving conditions hazardous along Highway 447 from Fernley to Gerlach, Pyramid Highway through Palomino Valley and Highway 395 through the Honey Lake Valley from Stateline to Susanville. Roads may also be slick.
Patchy freezing fog may expand into the Truckee Meadows through the morning.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
