Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Reno have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Lassen, eastern Plumas and eastern Sierra counties, warning residents to expect at least a dusting of snow overnight in the valley and up to three inches in higher elevations.
The advisory will be in effect until 1:00p.m. Friday.
Forecasters expect snow accumulations of up to three inches above 5,500 feet.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
