Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Reno have issued a Wind Advisory for Lassen, eastern Plumas and eastern Sierra counties including Susanville and the Honey Lake Valley, in effect until 4:00a.m., Tuesday.
Southwest winds of 30 to 40mph, with gusts up to 65mph for wind prone areas including areas along US-395 in the Milford and Doyle areas.
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and make travel difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
