Anytime you see a giant hot dog roaming the streets of Susanville you can pretty much expect something fun is going to happen!
The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, a cultural icon since the late 1930’s, is making a stop today at Susanville Supermarket IGA’s Kids Fest party.
But that’s not all! In addition to the world’s most famous hot dog shaped car, there will also be fun activities, games and prizes for kids, all starting at 10:00 in the parking lot on Main Street.
Kids of all ages will get to hang out with Sparky the Fire Dog, The Coca Cola Polar Bear, and Smokey Bear.
The event is free to the public and everyone is invited to come on down and enjoy the party.
IGA Kid Fest is also a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior project. Thousands of wounded warriors and caregivers receive support each year through Wounded Warrior programs and IGA is proud to be a part of that.
