Wendy Lea Sanchez Ithurburn
Our angel, Wendy Lea Sanchez Ithurburn left us November 21, 2015. Her final days were spent at home with family and friends. Wendy was born in Susanville on January 24, 1959. She lived in Susanville until she graduated from Lassen High School.
Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Sanchez, brother, Rocky Sanchez; and aunt, Bonnie Brewen Graham.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Steve Ithurburn; mother, Joyce Richards Hanrahan; daughters, Mallory and Madison McElroy; stepchildren, Matthew (Ashlie), Jacob, Amy and Samuel Ithurburn; aunts, Angelique Brewen and Cecelia Schmidt; many cousins, her extended Ithurburn family and her wonderful supportive friends who she called sisters of her heart.
All of those above received so much love from Wendy she will always be in our hearts.
Wendy taught all who knew her a lot about love. Strength, courage, and kindness. She always had a smile on her beautiful face. Wendy was a full-time mother and homemaker until she became a Certified Home Care Giver for the elderly, all of whom fell in love with her.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the Community Church of Susanville 1400 Numa Road, Susanville.
Donation in Wendy’s memory can be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
