The Westwood Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Harvest Festival on Friday, October 3rd, with festivities scheduled to run from 4:00 to 7:00p.m. on the Walker Mansion lawn, located at the corner of Ash and 3rd streets.
The festival will be a lively event for the whole family, featuring a wide range of activities. Guests can enjoy historic hay rides, browse a local farmers’ market, and pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.
There will also be face painting, games, a photo booth, and live music, along with food from various vendors.
Scarecrow Competition and Hay Ride Tours
In addition to all the fun, the festival will host a scarecrow competition. Teachers and parents are invited to build a scarecrow with their class or family for a chance to win a free pumpkin for every child at the event.

There will be two types of hay rides available. The guided tour of historic Westwood, for adults and accompanied minors, will depart at 4:30p.m. and 5:30p.m. For the kids, a fun children’s hayride will be running at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00p.m.
