The Lassen County Child Abuse Prevention Council will be hosting their second annual Fatherhood Conference Monday, June 16th, from 9:00a.m. to 2:45p.m. in Middleton Hall at Lassen Community College.
The theme of the conference is ‘What a Difference a Dad Makes’ and will feature two keynote speakers; licensed family therapist, Ronald Mah who will talk about fatherhood and conflict resolution with young children and Educator Rick Wilson who specializes in human growth and development.
There will be fun and educational breakout sessions and children over the age of 4 are welcome to participate in the various activities.
This is a free conference for dads and breakfast and lunch will be provided. All dads that attend will receive a great T-Shirts and have their name entered in the drawing for a chance to win some exciting door prizes. The prizes have been donated by many local businesses and community members.
