At Lassen High School the halls have been buzzing with political debates.
At the height of the Presidential election season, and many seniors coming of age to vote, I asked a group of 25 seniors their thoughts on who would win their vote.
One very outspoken young adult responded in support of Romney and stated the following;
“I believe Romney has a proven track record to back. He has been successful not only in Politics, but also in business, and I believe that is the kind of president we need to get America out of its economic struggle,” he said.
Another response that stood out was the one in support of our current President;
“I believe Romney hasn’t given the American People any idea of what he plans to do, and I don’t think he really has a successful plan of action to get America out of the gutters. I believe Obama is the best candidate for President.”
Overall, I found that in a group of 25 seniors the ratios are 24 to 1 in favor of Romney. It is safe to say the a majority of Lassen High School Seniors are in support of Mitt Romney for President 2012 according to my opinion poll.
