We are in the midst of the Holiday season, and I love every part of it! But you know what, this time of year is incredibly busy.
Between the hustle and bustle, and everything else, this time can also be very stressful. Lucky for me, I have a real-life angel on earth in my life that helps me. Actually, like clockwork, every other week. This person is Chelsea Woods.
Now, don’t you all read this week’s article and try to steal her, because I simply couldn’t function if you stole her wavy. Chelsea has been in my life since Pearl was a toddler, and I simply could not keep up on cleaning my home.
Now let me tell you this. I have tons of friends who are working mothers and their homes are always spotless. I am not one of them. Between my schedule and Frankie’s, I felt like all my free time was cleaning bathrooms, and folding laundry.
As you can imagine this made me less than pleasant to be around. Until one day, Chelsea entered the equation. Chelsea had been referred by a friend as someone who was incredibly trustworthy, who could help clean, do laundry etc. I initially hired her one time and I fell in love with her.
Her visits have become life-changing for me, and I know that sounds ridiculous, but just her helping to maintain the laundry or the bathrooms has really helped my mental health.
Not to mention the fact that I adore her.
No matter how tight finances become, Frankie and I agree that Chelsea stays. And I know her other clients echo my sentiments about her crazy work ethic.
Chelsea when she is not working a very busy momma, and very loyal friend. Chelsea works incredibly hard to provide for her children and also is very active in her church.
Speaking to her, you can tell that she truly “practices what she preaches” and is someone that I would love for my girls to look up to.
I have never heard Ms. Chelsea speak ill of anyone, which is one of my all-time favorite traits in a human being, she is also pleasant and kind, and over the years I feel truly lucky to have her in my life.
Chelsea spends pretty much all of her free time doing activities with her kids from their school stuff to their sports. She always has something nice to say, and my girls love Ms. Chelsea.
She is also incredibly intelligent, helping me solve problem issues around my house. I am so thankful she came into my life and over the years has become my friend.
If everyone were like Chelsea, I have no doubt the world would be a much better place. In the meantime, though, she makes our community a better place and continues to be one of the reasons I love where we live.
