One of the things I love most about where we live is that there are so many talented people tucked into this community who make it better just by being here. Cristian Morgan is definitely one of those people.
I first met Cristian at a kids party, and what stood out to me right away was his patience. That matters a lot when you are a DJ. A good DJ has to do more than play music. They have to read the room, know when to shift gears, keep the energy up, and somehow make it look effortless even when they are juggling a hundred little things at once. Cristian does all of that. And he does it well.
After that first event, I kept seeing him at different jiujitsu Christmas parties and Halloween parties, and I kept coming away more impressed. Different crowd, different vibe, different kind of event and still he handled each one with ease.
Then came a very special retirement party, and I immediately knew who I wanted to recommend. Cristian was the obvious choice, and he absolutely came through. Most recently I saw him at a wedding, and once again he did exactly what a great DJ should do. He understood the crowd, knew how to keep things moving, and made it all feel smooth.
Cristian has that down. He is confident, professional and clearly knows his craft.
And one of the things I notice every time is that he is always smiling. That may sound small, but it is not. A smile goes a long way, especially when you are the person helping set the tone for an event.
Cristian is also a loving husband, and while he may have only entered my life about five years ago if I am remembering right, Susanville has been home to him for a long time. That is part of what makes this community special. We are bigger than people think, and we have so many good people and so much talent right here at home.
Cristian Morgan is one of the reasons I love where we live. He is talented, kind, always smiling, and someone who makes every event better just by being there. We are lucky to have him in Susanville.
