Glen Schall is the kind of guy who makes you wonder if he’s secretly hiding a superhero costume under his Cal-FIRE uniform. By day, he’s battling working full time for Cal-FIRE. But, by night, he’s wrangling boys and winning “Husband of the Year” awards (I can assume).
Anyone who has ever worked with Glen, says the same thing. They want to be around him. They want him on their team. That’s right, folks, Glen Schall is out helping prevent fires and saving lives.
He’s kinda like Indiana Jones joined the fire department, but with less running from boulders and more filling out incident reports.
As if being a great dad and a community hero wasn’t enough, Glen also manages to be an awesome husband. My first memory of Glen was doing a couple’s bible study in his house years ago and just watching him and Kerissa together – how he spoke to her and treated her – it still sticks out in my mind to this day!
It’s obvious he really loves his wife, and in this day and age, I think that is worth taking note of. Just like he really loves all of his sons. (3 wonderful boys!)
Glen somehow manages to be an incredibly present father, particularly when it comes to his sons’ athletic pursuits. Whether it’s baseball or wrestling, Glen can always be found on the sidelines, offering encouragement and guidance to his boys, and really to any other young athlete he comes upon.
Glen just has this way about him, that people flock to (especially kids).
I can attest that he and Kerissa babysat Pearl ONE time, and she won’t shut up about the man. Kids can tell a good human when they meet one, and luckily for me, I too have known this for quite some time.
Glen isn’t pretentious or boasting, he just is a good person who loves Jesus, his family and the community.
It’s no wonder my husband has a bit of a man crush on Glen, and with how Glen is as a huma being, I’d say my Frankie picked a good person to look up to.
Glen Schall is the kind of neighbor we all wish we had. He’s proof that you can be a dedicated professional, a loving family man, and still have time to inspire admiration in the community.
We love this place because of people like you who make our community both safer and more entertaining every day.
