Updated 6:06p.m. A series of thunderstorms rumbling across Lassen County has sparked several small, mostly single-tree, vegetation fires. Just north of Susanville, near the Susanville Indian Rancheria’s property, two fires have been reported.
According to scanner traffic both fires north of town are small and will be easily contained by crews at scene.
Lightning continues across the region with more expected until late tonight.
