For a third time today firefighting crews and resources battled a fire – this one burning near Meadow View School on Paiute Lane in the northwest side of Susanville.
The fire is reportedly a small spot fire that will be handled by crews at the scene and the balance of incoming firefighting assets have been cancelled.
