Firefighters are hard at work tonight fighting a vegetation fire in the north Lassen County town of Dixie Valley. The Coyote Fire is burning about 3 miles southwest of Coyote Reservoir.
According to Emergency Services Chief Erik Ewing the fire has burned 130 acres in timber and brush.
Ewing reports that the fire spread has been stopped with no infrastructure damage.
