“Where is all this smoke coming from?” is the burning question of the day here in the Honey Lake Valley as smoke from a complex of fires in Siskiyou county drifts eastward across northeastern California and out into the Nevada desert.
The day started out with just a light haze in Susanville but visibility has steadily decreased throughout the morning prompting residents to ask, “Where is the fire?”
The fires burning near the Oregon border include the Happy Camp complex, the July complex and the Beaver fire; all burning on the Klamath National Forest.
