Soaring Eagle Blue Star Moms invite the Susanville community to join them on National Wreaths Across America Day to honor fallen veterans at Diamond Crest Cemetery. The ceremony will take place on December 13th, at 12:00p.m.
National Wreaths Across America Day is a movement to remember, honor, and teach about the sacrifices made by our veterans. Soaring Eagle Blue Star Moms are honoring local heroes by sponsoring wreaths to be placed on veterans’ graves at Diamond Crest Cemetery.
Everyone is invited to join us in this wonderful event to honor their loved ones, and if you would like to place an order, the Blue Star Moms can honor any veteran with a wreath. It’s a meaningful way to remember those who are no longer with us and to express our gratitude for their service.
Community members are encouraged to sponsor a wreath to be placed this December. You can sponsor a wreath for only 17 dollars.
What does it mean to sponsor a wreath? Sponsoring a veteran’s wreath is a personal gift of gratitude and remembrance for someone who served this country so that we can be free.
Your sponsorship supports the yearlong mission to remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and teach the next generation the value of freedom, while making new and existing free programs available to the masses. With each sponsorship made, a veteran’s wreath will be placed to honor an American hero.
