City Fire Department Wins Blood Drive Battle of the Badges

Susanville City Fire Chief James Moore and his staff came out on top in the United Blood Services ‘Battle of the Badges’

United Blood Services announced Wednesday that the Susanville Fire Department is the winner of their 2015 Battle of the Badges, a contest between fire and law enforcement to see who could donate the most blood. According to Donor Recruitment Representative Alma Cartagena the fire department helped collect 206 units!

The blood drive will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 905 Richmond Road on Tuesday, October 13th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 14th, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
