The Lassen County Department of Public Health issued a bulletin this afternoon letting Lassen County residents know that the Governor of California has ordered the closing of some indoor business operations statewide. These restrictions are effective immediately.
As of Monday all 58 Counties in the State Must Follow These Restrictions:
- Dine-in restaurants
- Wineries and tasting rooms
- Movie theaters
- Family entertainment centers (for example: bowling alleys, miniature golf, batting cages and arcades)
- Zoos and museums
- Cardrooms
Additionally, bars, brewpubs, breweries and pubs must close all operations both indoor and outdoor statewide.
According to the Public Information Team there are other businesses and locations being closed in other counties throughout California because those counties are on the State’s County Monitoring List. At this time, Lassen County is not on the list which means those additional restrictions do not apply here.
“Help us stay off that list and wear your face covering when in public, socially distance from those not in your immediate household and stay home if ill. Please support those businesses that now must operate with renewed restrictions.”
Testing Continues This Week at Public Health
Lassen County’s Public Health Department is offering free COVID-19 drive-thru testing each day this week at 1445 Paul Bunyan Road in Susanville.
Testing will done Tuesday between 9:00a.m. and noon. On Wednesday the drive-thru will be open from 1:00 to 4:00p.m.
On Thursday you can get your free test between 9:00a.m. and noon. Friday afternoon there will be testing from 1:00 to 4:00.
