Final Friday for the City’s Leaf Collection Program

The City of Susanville wraps up their annual leaf collection program this Friday, December 2nd, giving residents just one last chance to drop off  bagged leaves to one of three locations.

You can take your bagged leaves, tied securely, to one of these places; the vacant lot on the corner of Grand Avenue and First Street (next to the city fire department), the Roosevelt Pool parking lot on South Street and the vacant lot on Skyline Road at Numa Road.

The area where you are to place your bags will be marked with tape and barricades.  The bags must not weigh more than 40 pounds and can contain leaves only.

If you are handicapped or elderly please call 257.1041 to arrange for pickup of already bagged leaves.

This program is being brought to the residents of the City through donations by Waste Management and the California Correctional Center.

This program is for city of Susanville residents only.
