Firefighters Participate in Multi-Agency Wildland Fire Exercise at Lake Almanor

On Wednesday Lassen National Forest firefighters participated in the Lake Almanor Peninsula Multi-Agency Wildland Fire Exercise.

The objective of the training exercise was to test the response of the participating agencies to a large scale wildfire incident and increase community awareness about being #firewise.

Participants included the Office of Emergency Services, Peninsula Fire, CALFIRE, Chester Fire, Plumas National Forest, Plumas County Sheriff’s Office, CHP, Seneca Health Care, American Red Cross and PHI Medical Helicopters.
