Mark your calendar to attend Lassen County’s 150th Anniversary Celebration that is being organized by the Chamber on behalf of the County. The event will be held on Friday, September 5, beginning at 6pm, in Memorial Park Susanville. Live music, food, drinks, and no-host bar will be available. The County Anniversary Committee is hard at work preparing for this special celebration and invites the community to join in the celebration. Alliance for Workforce Development would like you to let them know so they can gain insight on how you are affected. California is in a state of emergency due to the drought and is seeking local information in order to obtain funding to assist communities that are impacted by the dry conditions. One-on-one counseling, financial & legal counsel, business planning, marketing and loan preparation are some of the many services that are available to assist businesses thru the program. The assistance program will offer services to eligible businesses at all stages of business development and operation.
