Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Weekly Update

The Chamber will be coordinating the Annual Lassen County Fair Parade that will be held on Saturday, July 20, beginning at 10am sharp. Entry forms can still be dropped off for late entry if received by Wednesday, July 17; stop by the Chamber office or call 257-4323 if you would like an entry form forwarded to you.
Parade check-in will begin at 9am Saturday morning in front of the Uptown Susanville post office, which is located across from the Masonic Hall, 84 North Lassen Street; at that time parade entrants will receive their parade number and line-up location.
The Annual Fair Parade Breakfast will be served Saturday morning of the parade, beginning at 7am in the Masonic Hall. The breakfast menu will feature pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and milk.
It’s fair week with many fun events to attend. Among the many fair activities not to be missed is the Sunday morning Junior Livestock Auction that will begin at 8:30am.
The sale features animals raised by local 4-H and FFA members who will conclude their animal projects at this sale.
The Lassen County Cattlemen will sponsor a ‘Good Morning Social Hour’ for all buyers beginning at 7:30am and the buyer registration volunteers will be available to sign buyers in and answer questions regarding the sale.
