Ever dreamed of being a cowboy or cowgirl when you grow up? Then bring a new unwrapped toy and get a shooting lesson from Kid Nickle during the Lassen Regulators Cowboy Action Shooting Club’s annual Toys For Tots Shoot-Out this Saturday, September 29th, at the Rice Canyon Range on Rice Canyon Road.
The public is welcome to participate in the shoot and if you do not have Cowboy guns, ammo and guns will be provided. Entry fee is one unwrapped new toy or toys for a child age 1 to 17.
All the toys collected will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.
A spokesman for the Lassen Regulators said, “This is a way for is to give back to the community. We feel that every child deserves to have a Christmas, and we want to be a part of making sure that happens.”
Sign up is at 9:00 and shooting begins at 10:00.
“So come on out and join us for some good times and cowboy shooting and to help the kids at Christmas.”
