Its Saturday morning! Time for Lassen Land and Trails Trust’s weekly Farmers’ Market!
There is a lot going on this weekend here in Susanville -the Chamber Music Festival, Relay for Life and a host of other events are going on today and tomorrow. The best place to kick-off your weekend is at the Farmers’ Market at the historic Railroad depot on Richmond Road.
Market manager Amy Shepherd is expecting a good turnout and welcomes Monna Walters of Mountain Delectables to the roster of vendors who populate the weekly market.
As part of their on-going series of wellness related presentations Banner Lassen will be at the market today with information on infection prevention and control.
The Lassen County Farmers’ Market offers the best and most nutritious fresh and local produce, eggs, meats, cottage produced goods and crafts sold in an open air market at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot, 601 Richmond Road, from 8:00a.m. until noon. As always the market is E.B.T. and W.I.C. friendly.
