Local Shelter for Dixie and Fly Fire Evacuees in Need of Donated Items

Lassen County’s Health and Human Services Department has opened an emergency evacuation shelter for those Plumas County residents who have been displaced by the Dixie and Fly fires.

Currently the shelter, located at Lassen College, is in need of donations. All items donated must be new as the shelter is unable to accept used items.

• Bed Sheets (Preferably Twin & Twin XL, however we will accept all sizes)
• Pillows
• Bath Towels
• Individual Packaged Drinks (i.e. juice, milk, sports drinks)

The Shelter is not in need of any bottled water at this time.

Please drop off donations at the Lassen Community College Gym. The list will be updated and released as needs are met or if there are any changes.
