LUHS Visit with the Superintendent

0

The Lassen High School District is inviting community members to a ‘Visit with the Superintendent’ on February 23rd, to help the district gather feedback, ideas and concerns from the public.

The quarterly event is an invitation for parents, students and teachers of children from all grades, not just high school, and interested community members to hold a conversation with LUHS Superintendent Todd Cutler.

Topics at the event will include; 21st century learning, graduation requirements and academic recognition.

At the moment Lassen High is considering changes to graduation requirements, offering diploma options to fit individual goals and needs. If implemented, these options would become effective with the class of 2016.

You can follow this link to view a brochure which gives an overview of the proposed graduation requirements.

The district is interested in what the community thinks about the proposal and welcomes any feedback. To share your thoughts and opinions on this and other matters, you can email the district at LHSFeedback@lassenhigh.org

The meeting will be held Thursday, February 23rd from 6:00 to 7:00p.m. at the LUHSD Meeting and Training Center (formerly Credence High) at 814 Cottage Street.
