Approximately 1500 voters who live in the northern areas of Susanville will be voting in a new polling location for the June 5th, Direct Primary Election according to information released today by Lassen County Clerk Julie Bustamante. The Community Church of Susanville, located at 1400 Numa Road, will be open from 7:00a.m., until 8:00p.m., on Election Day, for voters who reside in Precincts 417, 420 & 422.
This new facility is accessible for voters with disabilities and is very user friendly. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the building.
All Lassen County voters are welcome to come to the Election office in the Historic Courthouse located at 220 S Lassen Street, Suite 5, in Susanville. If you have a Vote-by-Mail ballot it can be delivered to any polling location in Lassen County on Election Day.
Sample Ballot Booklets and Vote-by-Mail ballots have been mailed. Election materials cannot be forwarded by the US Postal Service and will not be received by voters if the Election office does not have your current address.
If you have not received your ballot, please contact the Election office at 251-8217, or come into the Election office in the Historic Courthouse located at 220 South Lassen Street, Susanville.
Voters are reminded to check the back of their sample ballot because their polling location may have changed. It also contains a tear-out application for a Vote-by-Mail ballot. If you wish to Vote-by-Mail, the application must be returned to the County Clerk’s office by Tuesday, May 29th.
Ballots must be returned or postmarked no later than 8:00p.m., on Election Day. If returning your ballot by mail, it must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received in the Election office by Tuesday, June 5th, 2018.
