The Susanville Elk’s Lodge and Boy Scout Troop #159 presented a program dedicated to the American Flag and its various iterations last Wednesday.
Each year Elks Lodges across the country observe June 14th as Flag Day, a tradition started in 1907 and later adopted as an official observance by the Government.
Presentations were made by Chaplain Debbie Rogers, Past District Grand Exalted Ruler Larry Rogers and current Exalted Ruler Scott Smith.
After the ceremony attendees were treated to barbecue by Greg Sella.
