Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric announced late Wednesday afternoon that the utility is finally going to be able to go back to its normal transmission feed after nearly three weeks on backup because of damage to PG&E’s system during the Camp Fire in Butte county.
“Thank you to all our members for your conservation efforts while we have been on backup and split system,” said Energy Services Manager Corby Erwin.
“And thank you to NV Energy for providing our backup transmission feed to keep our member’s lights on.”
Erwin also thanked the prisons for running their on-site generators to help keep other members on during the difficult period.
