Lassen County Sheriff Dean Growdon will be hosting an open house and job fair on Tuesday, May 31st to provide an opportunity for the public to learn all about how the Sheriff’s office and the jail operate on a daily basis.
The event, being held from 4:00 to 8:00p.m., will include information and tours of the Sheriff’s patrol, dispatch, investigations, jail and coroner’s operations.
There are currently multiple opportunities for people looking to begin a career in the Sheriff’s Office – energetic and motivated community members who are looking to join the Sheriff’s team are encouraged to attend the Job Fair.
There are additional opportunities for part-time positions throughout the organization. Both career oriented and retired annuitants are encouraged to apply.
Current openings include:
- Deputy Sheriff
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Correctional Officer
- Search and Rescue Volunteer
- Clerical
- Sheriff’s Security Officer
The Open House and Job Fair will be held at the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, 1415 Sheriff Cady Lane. Job information and applications will be available.
