Deputies from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office conducted a sex registrant sweep on Tuesday, May 14th, in communities all across Lassen County.
During the sweep deputies attempted to contact 27 registered sex offenders, successfully locating 16 of them in Bieber, Doyle, Eagle Lake, Herlong, Janesville, Little Valley, Milford, Nubieber, Susanville and Termo.
Of the 16 registrants contacted, three were arrested and cases were submitted to the Lassen County District Attorney’s Office. Two additional cases were initiated for further investigation. The remaining registrants were deemed to be in compliance with their registration requirements.
