Sheriff’s Office Issues Mandatory Evacuation Order for Beckwourth Complex Fire

Mandatory Evacuation Orders have issued for the following areas:

Lassen County residents on the north and south sides of Doyle Grade from the Lassen/Plumas County line east to the intersection of US 395 but not including Laura Drive.

Lassen County residents from the Doyle Grade where it intersects with US 395 south to Red Rock Road on the west side of US 395 only.

Evacuation Warnings have been issued for the following areas:

Residents both east and west of US 395 from County Road A26 south to Doyle Grade and from Red Rock Road south to the Sierra/Lassen County line.Residents east of US 395 from where it intersects with Doyle Grade south to Red Rock road.

According to the Susanville office of the California Highway Patrol US 395 is still currently open. They ask that you please do not stop your vehicles along the highway. CHP are actively monitoring the US 395 corridor from the Nevada border through Doyle.

The Mandatory Evacuation Order has been expanded to include the following areas:

Lassen County residents on the north and south sides of Doyle Grade from the Lassen/Plumas County line east to the intersection of State Route 395 but not including Laura Drive.

Lassen County residents from the Doyle Grade where it intersects with Highway 395 South to Red Rock Road on the west side of Highway 395
only.

*An Evacuation Warning is still in place for residents west of Highway 395 from County Road A26 south to Doyle Grade and from Red Rock Road south to the Sierra/Lassen County line.

Updated 8:44p.m. MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER

A Mandatory Evacuation Order has been issued for residents from the North end of Constantia Road where it intersects with Highway 395 South to Red Rock Road on the west side of Highway 395 only.

An Evacuation Warning is still in place for residents West of Highway 395 from County Road A26 South to Constantia Road and from Red Rock Road South to the Sierra/Lassen County line.

SAFETY MESSAGE: People need to leave immediately. Please use caution and be courteous to your neighbors. Drive with your headlights on and yield to emergency personnel. Residents needing assistance evacuating are asked to call the non-emergency dispatch center at (530)257-6121. Deputies will be going door to door to make notification.

If you are in need of shelter during the Beckwourth Complex Fire mandatory evacuations in Lassen County, please call the Emergency Shelter line at (530) 250-9004.

Animals needing shelter can be housed at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Liability, feed, security, and care of animals housed at the Fairgrounds are the sole responsibility of the animal’s owner.

A check-in form will be available at the barns, please provide to the Fair Office during normal business hours. Please use the Paul Bunyan entrance to the Fairgrounds for sheltering animals in the barns. An Evacuation Warning has been issued by the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office for residents East and West of Highway 395 from Red Rock Road South to the Lassen/Sierra County line.

Residents with special needs who require assistance evacuating or who need to evacuate large animals are asked to consider evacuating now.

Deputies will be going door to door to make notification. Please use caution when leaving the area.

The Lassen County Fairgrounds will be available to board large animals. The number is 530-251-8900. Please call ahead. Call non-emergency dispatch at (530)257-6121 for large animal needs if the fair office is closed.

SAFETY MESSAGE: Be aware that changing conditions in fire activity may cause this area to escalate to an Evacuation Order at any time. Be aware that traffic interruptions may exist due to emergency personnel working in the area. Drive with your lights on and yield to emergency personnel.
