The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help locating a 55-year old Doyle resident who was reported missing Thursday morning.
According to details provided by the Sheriff’s Office, family members reported that the missing man, identified as Paul Bringman, left his residence in Doyle, on an ATV shortly before noon January 26th.
Bringman stated he was going for a ride and would be back in a little while. When he had not returned home after dark, family members began searching for him until around midnight.
“They stated Paul does not usually ride his ATV for extended periods of time,” explains LCSO Lieutenant David Woginrich. “One citizen reported seeing Paul on his ATV around 11:30a.m., in the area of Doyle Loop and Hackstaff Road in Doyle. Paul left his cell phone, wallet, and helmet at his residence.”
Immediately after the report was made to the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies began a thorough ground search of the Doyle, Herlong, and off-highway vehicle areas. The California Highway Patrol assisted in the search with their helicopter. As of today, the search for Paul is continuing.
Bringman is a white male, 55 years of age, described as 6’1” tall, 145 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes, and he has a large gray/brown beard.
He was last seen wearing black coveralls, green/tan jacket with an orange collar, black beanie cap, black boots, and he was carrying a blue/orange backpack.
His ATV is a gray/white 2011 Yamaha 660 Raptor.
