Two Westwood residents were arrested Monday as Deputies from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance by the Susanville Area California Highway Patrol, executed a search warrant at a residence.
According to details released today by the Sheriff’s Office, Deputies had been investigating a prior burglary from a home in Westwood which led to evidence to obtain a search warrant, issued out of the Lassen County Superior Court.
As a result of the of the search warrant, 42-year old Clint Kiplinger and 40-year old Katrina Kiplinger were arrested.
Clint Kiplinger was booked into the Lassen County Jail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of a dangerous drug and illegal transfer of a firearm. His bail is set at $30,000. Katrina Kiplinger was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear and her bail is set at $7,500.
