Students Show Off Their Knowledge of the World in Lassen Geography Bee

A tradition that has lasted nearly thirty-five years, the Lassen County Geography Bee, was held this week at Shaffer School, featuring some of our brightest local students showing off their knowledge of United States and world geography.

Fourth and fifth grade competitors were given both oral and written questions about the United States. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students answered questions about the entire world.

Every school that entered had at least one winner.

Winners received gift certificates for Margie’s Book Nook, sponsored by the Lassen County Office of Education.
