Susanville School District Summer Program Offering Two-Meals a Day for Students

Beginning today, June 14th, the Susanville School District will be offering two free meals a day to any child between the ages of 1 and 18.

Students will receive a lunch and a breakfast for the following day.

Meadow View School, 1200 Paiute Lane, will be open Monday through Friday from 11:00a.m. until 11:30a.m. for meal pick up.

Based on USDA meal requirements the child must be present to receive meals. This means that parents will not be able to pick up meals without their children present.

The program will run from today until July 30th, 2021. There will be no meal pick up July 5th, because of the Independence Day holiday.
