Lake 4-H of Lassen County Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Janesville Fire Hall. Dine in or take out. Adults $12 Children $8. All proceeds benefit the Lake 4 H club.

Milford Volunteer Fire Dept Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner Fundraiser. Patrick’s Day Dinner will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Milford Community Center 450-075 Milford Grade Rd, Milford. Meal includes Corned Beef and cabbage, carrots, red potatoes, bread roll, drinks, and dessert. $15 per adult $10 per child kids 5 and under are free. 50/50 raffle Gift basket raffles. All proceeds go to help the fire department buy new equipment.

Ranger-led Snowshoe Walks. Every Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 5, 2018 through March 31, 2019. 1:30 – 3:30 pm. A $10 park entrance fee applies unless a valid pass holder is present. Snowshoes are provided, a $1 donation is requested to cover maintenance costs. Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center.

Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon Game Night At The Pub will be from 6:00 -9:00 p.m. Offering by Cruise N’ Games. Grab your gaming pals and head into the pub for an evening of classic card and video games, courtesy of Cruise N’ Games (our neighbor in the Pioneer building). Dungeons & Dragons, Campaigns, game systems including Nintendo, 64, Xbox, and PlayStation with an assortment of games to choose from. End-of-the-night competition on Mario Kart and Halo. Flat fee of $10 to compete, $5 to play all evening. Kids welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Winners take home cash prizes.

Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon welcomes you to Lassen County’s only industry night for restaurant, bar, food service and hospitality professionals. Come with your co-workers, mix and mingle with your peers from other local businesses. Relax and get waited on for a change. Bring your business ID or paycheck stub for specials on appetizers and beer.

Lassen Family Services Parenting Group Classes. Reduce the chaos and power struggles; learn an approach to parenting that is both simple and effective. “Positive Parenting with a Plan,” by Matthew A. Johnson, Psy. D., MSW, helps parents establish order and structure in the home, including rewards and positive consequences that work! Designed as a 12-week program, group and individualized instruction is provided on an on-going basis. Group classes are held Tuesdays from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 10:00–11:00 a.m.
