Thank a Lineman! Monday is National Lineman Appreciation Day!

On Monday, April 11th, Lassen Municipal Utility District joins with other utilities across the nation to celebrate National Lineman Appreciation Day.

The day was first designated by Congress in 2013 to; “Recognize linemen, the profession of linemen and the contributions of these brave men and women who protect public safety.”

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association has since designated the second Monday in April “Lineman Appreciation Day.”

So, if you haven’t lately, take time to “Thank a Lineman!”
