Updated 7:43p.m. Fire fighters from CalFire and several valley fire districts are responding to the scene of a vegetation fire approximately 6 miles up Janesville Grade from highway 395.
According to scanner traffic the fire was started when a vehicle struck a tree and caught fire.
Scanner traffic indicates that the forward progress of the fire has been stopped at a quarter of an acre.
