Winning entries in the 2013 LMUD Art Calendar contest were announced and the winners were honored at a ceremony last Tuesday in the LMUD board room.
The annual calendar, whose theme is ‘Stay Clear and Stay Alive!’ will soon be back from the printers and ready to hang before Christmas.
Each student was asked to submit artwork showing the importance of electric safety, and how to avoid trouble in dangerous situations. 12 submissions were chosen to be featured in the pages of the calendar.
Featured in this year’s calendar will be artwork by Adina Howard, Brendan Casaurang, Damian Wynters, EmmaLee Rotlisberger, Jenna Leaman, Jodi Anne Chandler, Josie Leaman, Katelyn Kirack, Madison Smith, Trevor Canavan, Tristan Castrejon, Zane Owen.
The winning students each received an award certificate and a twenty-five dollar gift card, presented by LMUD’s board President Bud Bowden.
