Banner Lassen Medical Center is excited to bring to the community a fun, relaxing event that will also help monitor breast health.
Members of the community can experience a day of pampering with free 10 -15 minute chair massages and free manicures. Most importantly, Banner Lassen Medical Center will be offering screening mammograms (make sure to bring your physician order).
Early detection is the best way to protect yourself from breast cancer and mammograms are the best tool for finding and fighting breast cancer early. Mammograms are especially important for women over 40.
This special event will take place at Banner Lassen Medical Center’s Lassen/Shasta meeting rooms on October 21st and 28th, 2011, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. and will include massages, manicures, assorted tea and water, cookies and fruit, nutritional information, free nutritional evaluation appointment scheduling, warm robes for those getting mammograms, and financial assistance information.
