According to Lassen OES Chief Ewing the spread of the fire has been halted at 441 aces. One residence is confirmed to have been lost in the wildfire.
The California Highway Patrol is reporting that A3 has been reopened to traffic.

6:24p.m. Update
Information from the California Highway Patrol indicates that air tankers have knocked down the fire at the south end of Beckett Loop and that A3 is expected to remain closed until approximately 7:00p.m.

5:16p.m. Update
Radio traffic indicates that the fire has reached 200 acres in size and firefighters are making good progress on the blaze.

4:23p.m. Update
According to Lassen OES Chief Ewing the road closure on A3 has been expanded to the intersection of A3 and Highway 395 North, at the Wayside, in Standish to allow emergency crew access to the area. A3 is now closed to traffic from the Wayside to Sunnyside Road.
The fire is confirmed to be over 100 acres in size.
No change to evacuation orders at this time.

3:55p.m. Update
Radio traffic indicates that the fire has grown to 100 acres.

3:43p.m. Update
Air resources have begun arriving over the scene of the fire.

3:38p.m. Update
According to Lassen Office of Emergency Services Chief Eric Ewing the fire has burned 10 to 15 acres in brush.
The fire has involved some structures but there is no information what type at this time.
Evacuations have been ordered on Hyatt and Moore Lanes.
An advisory has been issued for residents on Deshane Lane and Beckett Loop.
County Road A3 has been shut down to traffic in both directions.

3:32p.m. Update
According to radio traffic Sheriff’s Deputies are going from house to house on Deshane Lane and Moore Lane warning residents about the fire.

Additional resources are being directed to the Standish area to fight the blaze. Lassen County Sheriff’s Office is monitoring the fire in case evacuations are necessary in the area.

3:19p.m. Breaking
Firefighting resources from multiple agencies are responding to a reported vegetation fire burning on Hyatt Lane near County Road A-3.
Power lines are reported down near the fire.
Several wildland engines, crews and air resources are en route.
