1:35p.m. Firefighters have a line around the fire and have stopped the spread of the flames at an estimated one-acre in size.

Fire fighters from multiple agencies including Cal-Fire and Susan River Fire District are on scene at a small vegetation fire burning off Faure Road near Gold Crest in the Gold Run area.
The fire is burning in light vegetation at a low rate of spread and at this point no structures are threatened. We will have more details as they become available.
