Chamber’s Big 2022 Spring Home and Garden Show Happens Tomorrow

The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Home, Garden and Outdoor Recreation Show will be held tomorrow at the Lassen County Fairgrounds with nearly fifty vendors featuring goods and services for do-it-yourselfers, gardeners, lovers of the great outdoors and even a wedding showcase!

“The wedding showcase consists of a venue, party planners, florists, cake bakers, makeup artist, and photographer,” explains Chamber Executive Director Kelly Ackley. “We have multiple food vendors, CHP 140 Squad Club, Areli’s Tacos, Sno Mountain, Mini Benniz and Base Camp Coffee Company; the Chamber will also be serving mimosas and bloody marys for the event.”

There are lots of fun things for the whole family to do at the fairgrounds. Lassen Tackle has coordinated with CDFW for there to be 150 fish that younger kids can catch and take home.

Sierra Party Rentals donated a bounce house available for the kids to keep occupied.

Grace for the Voiceless will have a kitten adoption and Paws for Effect will have a puppy to showcase their grooming. KJDX will be doing a live broadcast with the Spinning Wheel. Lovestead Farms will have compost buckets for purchase and LMUD will be raffling a $100 energy gift card.

Honey Lake Chapter Ducks Unlimited will have a game where you can win raffle tickets for their upcoming banquet, along with many informational booths and talented crafters.

Ackley thanked the event sponsors; Sierra Desert Properties, H&R Block, Jason Colbert Construction, Pregill Insurance, Homme’s Landscape, LMUD, Tractor Supply Co, Les Schwab Tires, Plumas Bank, Zaengles Floor & Home and JDX, and gave a special thank you to Lassen County Fair for their continued support and use of their facilities.

The 14th annual show runs from 10:00a.m. until 3:00p.m., at the fairgrounds and admission is free.
