A Deputy from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, on patrol in Westood Wednesday night, arrested a Chester man after discovering more than 50 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine during a routine traffic stop.
According to details released by the Sheriff’s Office the deputy stopped the vehicle to investigate a traffic violation and arrested the driver, identified as Chester Resident Aaron Lind, after he allegedly failed to comply with lawful orders.
“As a result of the arrest, more than 54. 7 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine was seized,” explained Lassen County Sheriff Dean Growdon. “The deputy also seized a digital scale, multiple small balls of cotton, syringes, tubes of saline, and medical tourniquets.”
Lind was arrested and charged with resisting a peace officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance for sale and transportation of a controlled substance for sale.
He was booked in the Lassen County Jail and is currently being held on $30,000.00 dollars bail.
The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office thanked CalFire Law Enforcement Officers for their assistance during the investigation and subsequent arrest.
