Lassen Family Services Budgeting Class is held every Monday from 4:00 – 5:00p.m., at Lassen Family Services or via Zoom. Lassen Union High School District Adult Programs – Computer Classes. Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm., at 814 Cottage Street. This course is for students considering careers in information technology. This course will use multiple learning formats to acquire foundational concepts, knowledge and skills. This is an introduction to basic IT knowledge and skills to help you decide if a career in IT is right for you. To register for class please call Zeane Barber at 530.257.2703.

St. Paul’s is inviting you to attend their weekly Bible Study Classes every Wednesday (except 11/23) through the month of November. The classes begin at 6:00 pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on 105 Ash St. Everyone is welcome to participate in these free studies that inspire, encourage, and provide opportunities for a more positive life journey. The LGBTQ+ parent support group is safe confidential space where members can vent and feel understood on a peer-to-peer level regarding personal topics. We ask that you do not bring accompanying children.

Lassen County Fairgrounds 2nd Annual Cowboy Festival at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Join the This event will be full of western vendors, a chili cookoff, and top notch entertainment. The concert doors will open at 6:00p.m., each night and the tickets will be $26each to the concert. For more information contact the fair office or visit lassencountyfair.org. Friday, the vendor hall and activities kick off at 4PM. Join us for performances by Jeremy McComb & Chad Bushnell. Saturday the vendor hall and activities start at 12PM with the chili cookoff tasting starting at 3PM. We will welcome back Jeremy McComb & a performance by BuckFord.

VFW Saturday Breakfast at the Veteran’s Memorial Building 7:00 – 10:00a.m. VFW Post 2381 will be serving breakfast on the 1st Saturday of each month. The breakfast is open to the public. Breakfast will be held downstairs.

Saturday, February 3
Mark your calendar as Northern California Cancer Advocates host their annual Crab Feed at the Diamond Mountain Casino Willow Room, Saturday, February 4th at 5:30p.m. Tickets are $60 and can be found at the Diamond Mountain Casino, Lassen County Federal Credit Union, or any NCCA member.

Sunday, February 5
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church invites you to ‘Sunday Coffee Hour.’ It takes place at 105 Ash St. in Susanville. Coffee hour starts at 11:00 am following church services at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited and it is free. Please come and join us for some refreshments, good coffee, and spend some time meeting people!
