Dr. Bateson, Susanville’s resident meteorological expert, checks in with a lake level report from Eagle Lake.
Bateson measured the lake Tuesday morning at 5097.67 feet. The lake level has come up one full inch since May 30th. It has risen 2.11 feet since November 14th, 2010 and is now 6.72 inches higher this year than last year on the same date. The doctor notes that even at this late date Pine creek is still running.
