The crew at Lassen Land and Trails Trust are holding their second annual Meat Raffle and Beefcake Auction, an entertaining social and fundraising event, at Lassen Ale Works on March 5th. You will have a chance to win locally raised meat and wild game while hanging out with friends and it’s all for a very good cause.
Event organizer Kelly Fairbank says, “Come out and have a great time while supporting the Trails Trust’s work in regional conservation of wildlife habitat and working lands and in the development, stewardship and promotion of our regional trails.”
How does the Meat Raffle work?
“Purchase your raffle tickets at the event and watch the beautiful Tyann Brown spin the Wheel of Fortune to see if you win a prize,” Fairbank explains. “We will have a spectacular array of local beef, lamb, wild game, and fish to choose from and you must be present to win.”
“For added fun,” said Fairbank, “Master of Ceremonies Hugh Hardaway will auction off the services of ‘beefcakes’ and ‘cheesecakes’ to the highest bidder. These talented men and woman are offering services such as handyman, Sushi chef, musical entertainment and more!”
