Lassen Registrar of Voters Introduces New Ballot Drop Box

Just in time for the August 27th Assembly District 1 Special Primary election, Lassen County’s Registrar of Voters, Julie Bustamante announced this week that a new Ballot Drop Box has been installed at the historic courthouse, giving voters an additional way to securely cast their ballots.

Voters will be able to drop their completed ballot into the new drop box located behind the courthouse at 220 South Lassen Street, without ever leaving their car. You can also ride your bike or just walk-up. The box can be used to deliver your ballot anytime until 8:00p.m. on Election Night.

To access the box, enter the parking lot behind the Historic Courthouse from Mill Street. The box is located near the old Jail at the south end of the parking lot.

If you have questions please call the County Clerk’s office at 530-251-8217.
